Shop and Establishment Registration In Pre, Post and During Lockdown Situation in India

The Ministry of Home Affairs vide its guidelines allow all registered shops registered under Shops & Establishment Act of respective States/ UTs, including shops in residential complexes, neighbourhood & standalone shops exempted from lockdown restrictions. Further, masks, gloves and adherence to social distancing norms will be mandatory.

However, Shops and Establishment in malls are not covered in above relaxation .

Basic Required Documents for Shop & Establishment Registration:

  1. Copy of PAN card of proprietor/directors,
  2. Copy of Adhaar Card of proprietor/ directors.
  3. Details of all employees.
  4. Photograph of Shop or Establishment.

However, Shops and Establishment Registration is a matter of State Government, so  different information is required in matter of different state(s).
